Siloxane Solution is an impregnating agent, which induces water repellence in absorbent mineral building materials. It is based on oligomeric, organosiloxane (partly hydrolysed silane) in aliphatic solvent.
Under the influence of atmospheric humidity the sealer condenses to a tack-free polysiloxane.
Advantages:
Effective capillary and pore blocking
Excellent penetration capacity
High alkali resistance
Tack-free drying
Application to slightly damp materials is possible (but not desirable)
Excellent UV stability
