Retarder Paste

Thixotropic paste concrete surface retarder

Retarder Paste is a rich brown, thixotropic paste, which may be applied to shutters,
moulds or directly onto concrete to retard the set of the cement at the surface.

Applications:

The use of Retarder Paste enables exposure of the aggregate to an even depth for the
production of architectural concrete finishes. When applied to hardened concrete
Retarder Paste will retard the contact area of fresh concrete placed against it, therefore
prevent bond of the fresh concrete to the hardened concrete.
