Corrosion blocking waterproofing mortar for water retaining structures Based on crystalline activated cement and passivating extenders

CrystalSkim WR is a blend of cements, pozzulanic extenders, fine sand, microcrystalline waterproofing additives, wetting aids and powder polymers.
Mixed with water to an easily trowelable consistency, CrystalSkim WR produces a thixotroptic mortar which does not slump off vertical or overhead surfaces easily. CrystalSkim WR is available in a variety colours.

CrystalSkim WR wet mortar responds well for easy smoothing and thin applications. It is one component, only needs water added.
CrystalSkim WR contains polymers and therefore need not be water cured. Allow the CrystalSkim WR 7 days to cure before filling up pools or dams with water.

CrystalSkim WR is designed for water retaining structures, where is contains a higher level of polymer and microcrystalline than CrystalSkim. It protects and passivates corroded reinforcing bars. The elastic modulus of hardened CrystalSkim WR is lower than that of cured concrete and therefore CrystalSkim WR bridges minor cracks and has no thermal expansion incompatibility with hardened concrete (Between 10 and 14-6 mm/oc).

CrystalSkim WR is watertight to liquid water.

CrystalSkim WR is ideal for the repair of concrete dams, concrete swimming pools or reservoirs.

The cured product is non-toxic.

Used with P3 Primer X as a priming and bonding layer, CrystalSkim WR passivates corroded steel and provides a blocking mortar which arrests ingress of chlorides, sulphates, and blocks carbonation at the surface.

Yield:

Mixed with about 16 % water each 25 kg of CrystalSkim WR powder will yield about 13 litre of plastic mortar. Add 4 Litres of water per 25kg bag of CrystalSkim WR
